Neoteric Digital Solutions Pvt Ltd is your one stop shop for design and development of various types of PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards). These PCBs can be single layered, double layered or multi-layered. Our team of highly qualified and experienced individuals have spend many years in the PCB design and development industry and are already accustomed to most of the design patterns that are normally required by our customers.
For single layered (single sided), double layered (double-sided) or multi layered (multi-sided) PCB, we have all the expertise to design and develop PCB using latest CAD (Computer Aided Design) tools. The design steps that we follow are: schematic drawing, footprint selection, PCB layout, 3D visualization of the drawing, sample PCB without components and mounting components on the PCB.
What is PCB Design and Production?
PCB (Printed Circuit Board) board made of laminate material like fiberglass, glass epoxy etc that has conductive copper applied to it. In the process of drawing a circuit on it, copper is removed and remaining copper works as tracks (conductive pathways). Various components like microcontrollers, integrated circuits, transistors, capacitors, resistances etc. are soldered on the PCB to make a complete working circuit.
PCB designing is the step in which the layout of the various components is done as per final product requirement. For example, if the design requires an LCD display and some push buttons, then those need to be layed out as per final product.
PCB production means making the final PCB by mounting the components and testing the PCB.
Why PCB Design and Production are core requirements?
Any company offering service in Microcontroller based Embedded Systems Design and Product Development should have capability to make their own PCBs. This we consider to be a core requirement. Any embedded systems development project has following stages:
1. layout of PCB
2. development of software
3. testing of hardware and software
4. launch of product
Many times in lab testing, hardware and software of PCB work perfectly well (stages 1, 2 and 3). But when put in real world production (stage 4), they misbehave. In such cases, if the designer of hardware and software are different companies, then it leads wastage of precious resources in identifying the problem. Clearly this is detrimental for the product. It is always advisable to get the hardware and software developed by the same vendor.
Further the vendor should have capability to supply initial quantities for field testing. When going for mass production with contract manufacturers, the design is well verified by field testing.
Our experience with PCB design and production
For each and every project, we always design custom PCBs by giving due consideration to form factor, noise immunity, ease of maintenance and field servicing. When customers request, we also give them production ready circuits boards with all components mounted on them and duly tested. We also offer warranty on the same. By doing so, we take complete responsibility and ownership of the product development.
